Continuous Supplier Evaluation
MECONTROL conducts an ongoing supplier evaluation to assess their performance:
- – The initial evaluation will be based on the first three orders. If there are no associated incidents, a Supplier List will be included, indicating in the corresponding section that the supplier is in the trial phase until the fourth order.
- – The ongoing evaluation will be carried out based on the observed shortcomings. When, for any reason (non-conformity of products or services, high prices, deficiencies in service, etc.), it is decided to discontinue an approved supplier or restrict its purchases, this fact will be indicated on the supplier list with a reference to the reason.
Annually, the Head of Purchasing and/or Quality, together with the heads of the departments that use the product or service, evaluate the performance of each supplier to determine whether any action is necessary.
